Significant delivery bottlenecks 2022/2023

If you still require the delivery of goods in 2022, we urgently recommend you to place your order in September/October. In the next 6 months (expected even until the end of 2023) we anticipate a significant worsening of delivery capacity for all normally stocked items from all manufacturers. Starting in October, we are unable to issue any more binding commitments for a delivery of procurement items (items marked in yellow) in 2022.

Alternative items are generally scarcely available at present and an existing order with items that are behind schedule is currently very valuable and should not be cancelled as a whole. The general delivery times for procurement goods will soon increase for the entire product range from the previous period of roughly 3 weeks to at least roughly 8-16 weeks. Items that are highly in demand already take more than 1 year (for example heat pumps or photovoltaics). KNX items for building automation also have considerable delivery periods already. Information is scarcely provided by manufacturers anymore, as they also lack information about missing components from suppliers.

If you have items in arrears from an order, this is monitored fully automatically. As soon as the goods have been received from the manufacturer, the order will be dispatched without delay. However, we do not recommend cancellation if you require these exact items, as they have already been queued by the manufacturer in serial order management and the associated allocation of materials to your order. The items in question are not available for delivery from other dealers either and a new order would mean multiplying the current delivery time, as the waiting period that has already elapsed would start over from the manufacturer’s side and many other orders have been received there in the meantime. Currently, the waiting periods for manufacturers are growing disproportionally due to constantly increasing incoming orders. However, an increasingly smaller number of dispatches are being carried out in proportion to this.

We have currently reached the limits of our capacity in phone support as well due to the massive amount of queries. The average waiting time for phone queries is roughly 30-60 min. E-mail queries from unregistered customers (ordering as guests) have processing times of up to 2-3 days. We therefore recommend you to register when placing an order in order to enjoy the benefits of a personal customer account with a consultant assigned to your order. This is the fastest and most secure route for queries. Your messages will be answered in the shortest time possible on the same day/within 24 hours and service is guaranteed 24/365.
