Please take into consideration that from November 24th we cannot give a delivery guarantee in 2023 for products that must be procured or special products (delivery status on item: yellow truck). Up to 90% of the goods ordered by November 24th will be delivered before the end of the year.
From December 1st the delivery time for all products that must be procured and special products (Delivery status on item: yellow truck) will increase from 15-16 working days (= about 4 weeks) to 22-23 working days (= about 5 weeks) because the earliest dispatch of these goods can be ensured from 15th January 2024.
Due to the increased demand in December plus holidays and stock-taking periods of almost all manufacturers dispatch can be delayed until mid January. These are our experiences from 26 years of e-business. Basically, there is hardly any chance to get these special goods earlier because most manufacturers do not start full operation again before 15th January 2024. If you have also ordered available central warehouse items, then you’d better select part delivery offered in the cart (double shipping costs) for the available goods, otherwise NO part delivery will be executed.
The entire delivery situation will be massively exacerbated at the end of the year (from December) because the existing delivery bottlenecks of all manufacturers will increase dramatically due to inventory reductions and all parcel senders and freight forwarders have already reported significant delivery delays. We therefore recommend that you place important orders in November at the latest and urgently order partial deliveries in the shopping basket at a charge if this is offered with different item delivery times.
Please note that existing orders are processed serially by the manufacturer. If you cancel, for example, procurement goods, you will have to expect even longer waiting periods with other dealers. We therefore advise you to be patient.
Advice business customers
If all or some items in your order are so-called items that must be procured (yellow dot at article in product preview or product detail view) the Christmas or end-of-year holidays may cause delivery delays since these items are ordered directly from the manufacturers. Thus, we recommend particularly for orders that also include available central warehouse items (green dot at article) to select the option “part delivery” in the cart to permit the earliest possible dispatch of the goods. However, in this case you will receive the complete invoice (2023) for your entire order i.e. also the invoice for items that must be procured and are delayed in the delivery (2024).
If the order includes available central warehouse items only (delivery status on item: green truck), then you will receive the acknowledgement of order and confirmation of delivery date immediately after placing the order also during the whole holiday period and the turn of the year, otherwise on the working day that follows.
