The eibabo® technology store is one of the leading providers of communication and network technology and offers high-quality products from WISI. WISI is divided into WISI Communications GmbH & Co. KG and WISI Automotive GmbH & Co. KG. Both companies are based in Niefern-Öschelbronn in Baden-Württemberg. The 'Communication' business area develops and manufactures, among other things, components and systems for reception and distribution technology, reception systems for satellites and mobile communications, and solutions for interactive cable networks. The 'Automotive' division specializes in mobile reception in vehicles. This creates cable systems, antenna technology, telematics systems and components for the identification and localization of objects and living beings with radio waves (RFID). Wilhelm Sihn founded a company in Niefern in 1926 to manufacture receivers, plugs and radio parts. With his initials, he is the namesake of the company. Later, antennas for radio and television broadcasting were also produced. Since then, the WISI Group has grown continuously. After a few production sites in Germany, the first foreign agency was established in Colmar (France) in 1962. Further branches are located in Olawa (Poland) and in Messadine (Tunisia). WISI is currently managed by the third generation, operates internationally and has expanded its business to many countries around the world.
