The FA250 antenna with 250cm cable can be connected instead of the small antenna supplied. Optimally placed, this increases the range considerably. The 1-level mode is activated ex works. Only the signals from sensors and actuators are received, checked and sent on with full transmission power. Radio signals from other repeaters are ignored to reduce the amount of data. In the de-energized state, a rotary switch can be used to switch to 2-level mode. After switching on the supply voltage, the radio signals of another 1-level repeater are now also processed. A signal can thus be received and amplified a maximum of 2 times. Radio repeaters do not have to be taught in. They receive and amplify the signals from all wireless sensors in their reception area. The LED under the rotary switch indicates all received radio signals by flashing briefly. The radio repeater FRP14 can either be installed as a single device in a sub-distribution and then requires a 12V power supply with a switching power supply unit SNT12-230V/12V DC-1A. Or it is mounted to external wireless actuators of the 14 series and the power supply is cross-wired with a jumper. There is no connection with the bus. This is only looped through.
